My name is Nikki Phippen. I will be starting my 26th year at Salmon River this fall. I have taught third and fourth grades and for the last 3 years I have been the reading teacher, working primarily with students in grades 3-5. I have 2 sons, ages 23 and 21, both of them work for UPS and my husband is a PE teacher at Salmon River. I hope that I will get some strategies that I can use with the struggling readers that I work with.
