It was hard to choose just one figure, but I feel figure 3.3 is a great tool to have assess to.  It provides so much information to be used in the classroom.  It helps to find where a student is, what they find difficult and how to help them.  Along with guiding teachers to the chapters that can address these difficulties.  Often times I find it easy to figure out what a student can do, and even where they are struggling, the difficult part is knowing what the student needs help with and where to go to get that help.  I am glad I decided to do this book study, this book provides so many great strategies that I have not been aware of or used, along with so many useful tools/guides in the appendix.  I will use this book frequently throughout the school year, referring to it when needed.

I am so glad to hear this!  It was one of those books that I wished I had read sooner.  There is so many helpful tools, that it would have a spot on the corner of my desk for planning purposes.

I find it hard to figure out what they can do as well, and sometimes when they struggle they shut down and it makes it more difficult. I plan on using this as well.
