I found this book to be very helpful and beneficial. I'm glad I decided to do this Book Study.

I think there are many useful figures throughout this book that will help guide me with my small group instructions. I really liked Figure 3.1 Skills and Less Skilled Readers, I'm hoping this well help me with small groups and seeing where kids are at and guide them to be more skilled. Hoping that is also helps to track problems they may have, track their growth and what the next steps would be to move them forward.

I also really liked Figure 3.3 Instructional Assessment Chart. I think this will also help me with my small group instructions determining where a student is at and what they need help with. This will help in planning my groups and lessons. It also pinpoints what chapter(s) to refer to for guidance on next steps to follow.

I feel like I will be referring to this book alot throughout the year.

This was a Great Book Study with LOTS of Useful Information and Charts!
