Choose one figure that you will use in your instruction. Describe the what, why, and how this figure is important and will be put into your instruction. 

I think figure 3.3 the Instructional Assessment Chart is very beneficial in my classroom. I can use it in our small groups to asses the proper grouping of students. This will help me to determine which peers can benefit from one another's strengths. In our special education room I tend to help more but with this chart I can help them be more independent and come up with an instructional plan to implement with the classroom teacher.

One of the things that stood out to me most about your post is that you want to help your students be more independent, I think that this is hard to achieve but essentially is the goal. I also find the figure you chose to be very user friendly.

I also like the way that this figure can help to promote independence. Our students seem to always want instant feedback. Although this is sometimes helpful, it can also block higher levels of thinking and potential discussion that could take place.
